Mr. Dewey Allen

Well we made it home from our trip to Sunriver. Not on a happy note, but on a sad note. Not because our vacation was over or the fact that it rained off and on the last two days of vacation, but because we had to say goodbye to our little love bug, Dewey. I still cant even believe he is gone. Cameron (brother) and Sarah (his girlfriend) left Sunday afternoon. The rest of us went on our merry way going on a long bike ride to the park, laughing, joking, and having the best time. We made it home and got a phone call from Cameron saying Dewey was sick. Really sick. He said that Dew had black tar like stuff on his paws and around his bottom, and that he tried to get him to drink water and after he was done he just lay helpless in the bowl of water. It being Sunday and our normal veterinarian was closed  my dad told him to take Dew to the Emergency Vet right away. If you guys don't already know, our dogs mean the world to us. They have helped us all get through so many major trials in our lives and are always there to comfort us, so when something like this happens we lose ourselves. About 15 minutes later we get a call from a tearful Cameron telling us that Dewey was in horrible shape and that the vet said without a blood transfusion they didn't see him making it through the night, and even with the transfusion they couldn't guarantee anything either. They said is most likely was cancer and something had burst in his stomach making it happen so sudden, and that's where all the black tar like stuff was coming from. He was bleeding internally. I felt so helpless. We were stuck in Sunriver, unable to say goodbye to our Dewbug. Even if we rushed home with a two hour drive ahead of us, they said that it would be too long for Dewey to endure waiting for our goodbyes. I had Cameron put the phone up to Dewey's ear so I could say Goodbye and that i loved him so much. Sarah said he perked up when he heard me and was trying to look around. That made me feel good and horrible at the same time. I wanted to kiss him and hug him one last time. I got robbed. I miss him. Dewey was a one of a kind dog. I look at pictures and can only think of how sweet and lovable he was. Like when I would scratch his back and seconds let he would jump up and lick my face telling me to not stop. Or him being my cuddle bug every night when I lived at home. Or his pony tails. He was the only male dog that could rock a pony. Or his little snorts. His howls between him and our other dog Simon. How he loved to sunbathe. Or how he would sit like a little prairie dog when he would want a "scooby snack". How he was known as the little star wars "Ewok" dog. I. MISS. EVERYTHING. Of course he was slowing down, he was 10 years old, but he still had fire in him. The day we left he was rolling around on the floor with his stuffed animal acting like a puppy. Such a shock. One thing I am comforted with is that before I left for Sunriver I picked him up like I always did and gave him a few big hugs and kisses. Yes, we still have Tyson and Simon left, but you definitely know Dewey is gone and so do both dogs. I know it will get better and Ill stop crying everyday, but for right now I am sad, really sad. Seeing is toys, collar, and his paw print kill me every time I see them. But I need to remember that while all this sucks, I had 10 great years with Dewey and that cancels out all this sadness I am feeling now. Dew will never be replaced or forgotten. I love you my little Dew bug.

Sorry if I sound like a crazy dog freak, but this little guy melts my heart.

Did You Just Farkle?

OK. Forgive me. This post is LONG overdue but i have had a busy month so cut me some slack. So the greatest thing happend, my BFF, homegirl for life has come home for the summer while her awesome hubby is interning in Eugene. I have had the best time with Mrs. Jenni Woodmansee so far and cant believe we have another 2 months to live it up together!!! This girl is getting my booty into shape with her amazing aerobics classes and little workout plan she made up for me. And when I say aerobics class dont underestimate it, it gets the blood pumpin' and the sweat is drippin' off of us all. I am determined to drop some hardcore weight by the end of august! Im going on 2 weeks of working out everyday and eating healthy so we will see where it gets me by August! Yikes!!!

Last weekend I played an amazingly funny game called Farkle at the Jolley's (Let's just say I have missed that family soooo much) I actually think i liked the name of the game more than anything. I havent laughed that hard in soooo long! We also busted out my camera and took some saweet FAT Booth photos, I promised carol I wouldn't post hers, but ill give you a peek of some other sweet ones. :)

My family also spent the weekend celebrating all the fathers in our family! It was a beautiful sunny, warm day spent at my Gigi and Papa's sitting out on the deck all day eating yummy food and playing endless games of vball with the cousins. I love my Daddio more than words can say and I honestly feel like we should celebrate fathers day more than just one time a year. :)

We also had a coast trip, birthdays, and other random events that have taken place over the month so enjoy the pics :)

Cousins, Best Friends. Same thing.

Cousins are the best! Especially this girl right here! Hillary has grown into such a great girl. She has such great morals/values, she is smart, funny, and also a miss fashionista! She just ended a 5 year long relationship, so I decided to steal her for the weekend and keep her busy! We started with a slumber PARTAY Saturday night,  Sunday consisted of Church, lunch date, movie, an Alton baker park stroll, and ending it with some Desperate Housewives (2 freaking hours long might I add) and a hot tub sess.

Have any of you seen Water for Elephants?! Holy crap, I had no idea what I was in for. That movie is intense!!! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Mainly because my boyfriend Robert Pattinson was the main star. :)

All and all it was a great weekend! We got a little crazy with the Mac photo booth, so enjoy our silliness.

ALSO! I got my hair done! YAY! Totally what I wanted, The pictures don't show the true colors, but you get the idea. Definitely lighter in person.

Enjoy!

Holy Moly batman, I had one crazy busy weekend. Two birthdays and a Mothers Day get together! We spent Saturday night celebrating the birthday girls, Lana and Emma's party Fiesta style and today a lunch/lazy day for the Mothers of the family put on by all the men. I love my family, but oh man is there alot of energy in one house when we all get together. Not much to say in this post other than I am offically pooped, enjoy the pictures of my busy weekend. ALSO... Happy Mothers Day to all you Moms! I love you Mama more than you will ever know. Thank you for all the laughs, support, and unconditional love. <3

Day 30 of the 30 Day Challenge

Day 30- A picture of someone you miss.

Is it really my last post for the 30 day Challenge? Sad. Well Someone I miss... Its definitely this girl. My beautiful, smart, giving, funny Best Friend, Jenni!!! Can I just say that it TOTALLY sucks having your best friend live in another state?! She has been out of my life for far too long now. Our friendship was basically made the day she was born. She was born two days after me, in the SAME hospital. I'm pretty sure we were BFFs in the nursery! ;) But we have known eachother for what is it, 18 some years. Man that is crazy to say. And who keeps friends that long? This girl has seen me at my lowest and highest of times. There isn't any event in my life that she hasn't be involved in or known about. She was the first person I called when my parents were in the accident. I still feel horrible for waking you up in the wee hours of the night, but my point is that she has and always will be that person that I can go to for anything. When I think of my childhood she is in every memory. Playing barbies, dolls, lemonade stands, making videos and documentaries, taco bell runs, oh man, so many amazing memories. My favorite thing is when we get together its as if there has been no time in between us. We pick up right where we left off and talk, giggle, and have the best times! I am so blessed to have you in my life Jenni. I honestly cant imagine it without you. I love you Double J and I am SOOOO excited we get to spend the WHOLE entire summer TOGETHER! Its gonna be just like the good ol' days. LOVE YOU best friend.
PS I LOVE LOVE LOVE her family too! They are the best!

Day 29 of the 30 Day Challenge

day29 - A picture that can always make you smile.

THIS LITTLE GIRL CAN ALWAYS MAKE ME SMILE.
This is my Aunt Lana and Uncle David's 3rd child Little Miss Lily Mae. (She FINALLY got her little girl) She is such a sweetheart. She hardly ever cries. She is just so smiley and chit chatty. She melts my heart. I am so scared to have babies in the future because I am pretty sure they wont even come close to being as cute as this little one. (I promise
, I love ALL my cousins the same, but something about this little one gets me!!!!!!!!!)

This is lily with her big brothers Carson (Batman) and Vinnie :) These boys are so good with their sister.

A better picture of what the real batman (Carson) looks like with his sis!

Lily snuggles are my favorite

I Love her, can you tell?
